I Wanna Be...

...Leigh Arnold. No this is not going to be some creepy post about how we want to skin Leigh and wear her like last season Prada! I just mean that I think she is super talented, incredibly beautiful, totally chic and never looks anything but perfectly and effortlessly put together! Who doesn't want all that?
Even in still pictures Ms. Arnold seems to have an enviable effervescence that almost makes us a wee bit sad because honestly, we are worried she will be off and gone to Hollywood where we will have to admire her from afar!
She may have a leading role now in "the Irish E.R....but better!" (duh, 'cause it's Irish!) but Leigh started out her career playing the Baby Jesus in a Nativity play! This news comes as no surprise to me as we here at Cineál Saoil have considered her a style Messiah for quite some time now.
Though her current relationship caused a bit of a tabloid stir (and some concern on my part!) it seems as though Ireland may have had the wrong idea about Marcus Sweeney. I like to think he must be a real good, honest, and generous bloke if he has scored a top lady like Leigh Arnold and I am certain she has the good judgment to only get involved with the best of the best.
Leigh has also, aside from her success on the telly, become a sort of role model and almost heroin to loads of young ladies around the country when she publicly spoke out about the bullying she suffered through growing up. We say cheers to Arnold for divulging this sad and embarrassing past and also offer our assistance in sticking a Manolo heeled foot up any of those unkind ladies bums!
We are yet to see Ms. Arnold make a questionable fashion choice, scroll down to see a few that we love;
Ms. Arnold took a walk on the wild side in the bondage-burlesque feather frock at the 2008 Meteor Awards with Marcus by her side. This look is different, she definitely took a gamble, and I think it paid of in spades. With swept back hair, know jewelry and nothing more than a glossy lip and ever-so-slightly smoked out eyes, Leigh's daring black two-piece party ensemble was BA-NANAS. She made it incredibly chic with black opaque tights and peep toe shoes.
In a big departure from the previous look, she keeps it casual here at the after party in Krystle with skinny jeans, wedges, an a-symmetrical cut top and wrap style cardi. With her hair still pulled back in neat chignon and her signature minimalist dewy-look make up she is to-die!
In a very of the 'moment jumpsuit', Leigh shares a laugh with the paps, perhaps shrugging off the similarities between her look and Ms. Davison's on the night?(each girl looked fab and put their own spin on the trend-we hardly noticed that they were similar!) Leigh accessorized her get up with some show-stopping chunky turquoise necklaces a load of funky bangles and a sleek black clutch purse. We bet her shoes were fab, but we never got a chance to see them! .
