CeLaGuTiTe Rank Week One December 09

Well it has been a while folks! collecting the data and tallying uo the points each week had started too take up more time than I actually had BUT, so many people e-mailed in looking for The Rank, I knew I had to start it back up again! Lets Go!
At number FIVE this week is the gorgeous meets sexy meets adorable Hayley Ryan. I myself, don't know much about Hayley other than she has a fabulous figure and never seems to have a shortage of work! She garnered 1602 points this first week in December based pretty much solely on the amount of times we saw her picture taken and published from spots all over the capital. Make that money girl!

This week number FOUR went to TV3 Bombshell Glenda Gilson. GG got column inches from her reaction to the morbid and sick Katy French book. We don't want to comment any further on the book cause it deserves no more publicity that it has already garnered. Glenda was just one of many friends outraged by this book and many publications were fighting for her input. On a lighter note, pics of Miss Gilson in the famed Baileys Red Bow ball gown were also smattered in various places giving her a told of 2013 points this week.

Number THREE is birthday girl Laura Toogood. The glam Laura simply hit the big 2-5 mark this week and celebrated with friends at Krystle. This alone helped LT to rake in 2987 points! Well, it may have also been the curiosity in recent hair colour evolution - that lady looks FAB no matter what she does!
TWO is the elegant and graceful Leigh Arnold. The later part of '09 has certainly held its trials and tribulations for the dark beauty but no one could have endured it all better. Through out it all Leigh has remained fabulous, beautiful, stylish, composed, sweet and diplomatic. Hang in there Miss Arnold, we know the future holds great things for ya! And even though most of her coverage this week may have been dedicated to the cancellation of RTE's The Clinic, Leigh also used her star power to help out and bring attention to a wonderful cause, The Irish Special Olympics.

This week's number ONE is, surprise, Rosanna Davison. How could it not? Miss Davison pretty much had one ingredient of each of the previous ladies as well as her only natural draw! Just like Hayley she is hott and was spotted and photographed all over the place. Like Glenda, many were intrigued to hear Rosanna's take on the horrid Katy book. She was right by Miss Toogood's side in celebrating her bday, and she also was getting press for her good works - especially the upcoming fundraiser for Children's Hospice at Ouzos Restaurant. All hail Rosie, always the reigning queen!

Rounding out the top ten were Louise Kavanagh, Ruth O'Neil, Andrea Corr, Nadine Coyle and Una Healey.

White Hot Night in the Capital

Entertainment.ie has a FAB gallery of all the comings and goings last night when Residence held the Samsung Pearl White Mobile Launch.
Danielle Bux, or I suppose we should say Lineker now!, was on hand to help Samsung and other FAB people launch the latest Blackberry in the Pearl collection.
The recession seemed outa sigh and outa mind last night as the event was quite reminiscent of days of yore (or should I say more!) With a white theme and busting goodie-bags that even included the new coveted phone, Dublin's 'It' girls were out in force and - we think - gave the gorgeous lingerie model a run for her money!
Models Sarah Kavanagh, Ruth O'Neil, Louise Kavanagh, Laura Toogood, Charlotte McCabe and Naomi Cullen all looked gorge in their gleaming white!
The party was filled with TV3's best and brightest as Glenda Gilson, Aisling O'Loughlin, Lisa Cannon, and newbie Sean Munsanje were all their rubbing elbows and get all the latest goss we're sure!
Check out the Herald to hear Mrs Lineker's thoughts of our city and her new found married life!

CeLaGuTiTe Rank 27.7.09-3.8.09

Hey there, it has been a while since I did a rank - my own busyness and not the fact that Dublin's it girls haven't been out and about being fab, cause they certainly have! Let's go folks! Number FIVE this week is RTE's glam sweetheart Grainne Seoige. As one of the guests of honour at the Race Ball last Friday, pics of Grainne looking oh so glam were all over the place - even we had to exclaim her ferocity (below) the moment we saw the snap! As a born and bred Galway girl she was all over the race week events, just days after we'd been hearing she was a main contender to take over as permanent hos of The Panel. This lady has still TOTALLY got it. FOUR is Total Xposure contestant Ruth O'Neil. Miss O'Neil has always been on the scene but her Xposure exposure has elevated her status to new heights and I fore one, feel like I am noticing more and more of her modeling work that I hadn't before now that she is on the telly every week. This week's THREE is Louise Kavanagh. It's summer, it's bikini time (even if it isn't bikini weather )and I think it is safe to say that there are very few ladies on this little island of ours who not only fill a bikini like Louise but have no shame is doing so-anytime, any place! We think Louise is great and a natural born hustler baby! Make that money!! At number TWO we have the ethereal Daniella Moyles. Is it me or is losing Total Xposure the best thing to happen to that girl? Don't get me wrong it is a terrific gig and good on ya to whoever scores the coveted role but, the whole country has seen this beauties talent and we think there are nothing but big things is Daniella's future! Number ONE is old standby and just about every one's favourtie, Glenda Gilson. Glenda's charm, wit and bod are enough to get her headlines and column inches but lately it is her are they-aren't they love life/hott and cold personal life that has everyone so intrigued. Not worried though, Glenda is a lady and the last person we see becoming defined by the relationship she is or isn't in. Rounding out the top ten is as follows; 10 the leggy HAYLEY ROCK, 9 snake charming EMMA QUINLAN, 8 Miss Universe-e;ect DIANA DONELLY ,7 Industry insider MICHELLE McGRATH 6 the always fab ROSANNA DAVISON.

7.7.09

Celagutite Rank 30/6/09 - 6/7/09

Time for some more rankings! Let us begin.... All publicity is good publicity! People were talking this week about the glam and stylish hostess Hayley Rock letting her rack up 1582 points and slipping in to the number FIVE spot! Tall, blond, chic and connected - we've been fans of Miss Rock for a while. Quickly becoming the new International Irish 'It' girl and out shining Nadine Coyle, The Saturday's Una Healy is this week's number FOUR with 2009 points! Jet-setting totally glam Miss Rosanna Davison is at THREE this week with 2989 points, and she still found time for a night out with Mam and Dad to the Bruno premiere! We love this chica!! Glenda Gilson and her ever baffling love life got her the number TWO position, loads of column inches and 3129 points this week! We love ya GG, no matter what! Claire Tully's new official website, her BA-NANAS bod and her always smart, witty and interesting opinions in her column got her 4079 points and this week's number ONE slot! The rest of the countdown came in as follows - SIX the multi-talented AMY HUBERMAN, SEVEN her friend and co-star LEIGH ARNOLD, EIGHT was the adorable Niamh 'Nemo' Walsh, this week's NINE is DIANA DONNELLY and finally at TEN the glam SUZANNE McCABE.

SUPER Celagutite Rank 16/6/09- 29/6/09

Sorry for the delay kiddies, SERIOUS I-T issues had as pulling our hair out these past two weeks but we finally bit the bullet and straightened it all out! Well this is a TWO Week version so lets jump right in!
At FIVE this time we have a new, and sure to be reoccurring entry into the countdown, Diana Donnelly with 7380 points, the new Miss Universe Ireland! Though she got a bit of press leading up to the night as a rumored favourite, in the days after the competition her face and name was everywhere! Congrats on your crown Diane and congrats on being catapulted into the Celagutite Stratosphere!
FOUR, with a just a few more notches at 7425 points and the help of her pet snake is the adorably spunky Emma Quinlan! I have undoubtedly seen Miss Q. in her knickers more than I have glimpsed myself, but with a body like that I say go for it!! Seemingly always up for a party or game for a laugh Emma doesn't need a boa constrictor to garner attention but hey, it doesn't hurt!
This time around 7900 point and in the number THREE position is one my fav's! Leigh Arnold is a gracious, talented and glowing lady and deserves every nice thing that is prnited about her! I think it is safe to say that she is quickly becoming Ireland's sweet hear and Cineál Saoil could not be happier!
Number TWO is super sexy glamazon Rosie! 10, 000 points in 2 weeks, WooHoo! Just within the last month Miss D. really has really seemed to take a big leap outside her comfort zone. She no longer seems like a beauty queen, she is showing us herself! Both with amping up the fashion stakes, keeping us all guessing about her and Wes and even having slightly cheekier sound bytes and quotes in the press, we like this new Rosanna!!
At number ONE with 10,700 points it is Amy Huberman! An 'It' girl, an actress, a fashion inspiration, a philanthropist and all around lovely gal, and now an up and coming author!! - we thinks we'll be calling BOD Mr. Huberman is she keeps all this superwoman stuff up! Congrats Ames!!
Rounding out the top 10 were Laura Toogood, Glenda Gilson, Sara Kavanagh, Pippa O'Connor and Hayley Rock!
We'll see you all again promptly on Monday and if you are really dying to know how the results are tabulated email me miss.emeraldapple@gmail.com :o)

Celagutite Rank 8/6/09 - 15/6/09

Welcome to Week Two!
It was sort of a slow Celagutite news week, but we are Ranking just the same! Let's dive right in, shall we;
Moving back just one spot at number FIVE, with 1525 points is the beautiful brainy Laura Toogood! Miss Toogood manages to look splendid in her most recent photo shoot while hitting the books hard! Must be all the running and those FiFlops she told us about! Good job Miss Toogood, always a delight!
With only 50 more points Laura's VBF, Rosanna Davison is at number FOUR with 1575! She stayed much more quite this week after a previous news-filled week but she still managed to get those page inches for being glam, fab an gorgeous! Cheers! In a rather large jump from last week number THREE is the gorgeous and talented Leigh Arnold with 2050 points. Rumors of a split with main man Marcus kept her name high in the news but they were just that - rumors - and the two are totally loved up and fine!
Just ahead of Leigh is her 'Bill' co-star Amy Huberman is number TWO with 3050 points! Her style, her engagement, her upcoming novel - and even a not quite so glam pic of her at a young age in the Herald - all helped her bump up her score this week! Adopted Irish Celagutite Michelle Heaton took a huge leap into the countdown this week and snatched the number ONE spot! With 6625 points - due mainly to her BFF duties as official cry-on shoulder to Katie "Jordan" Andrea-Price Miss Heaton was everywhere but, the revelation that she will now act as a fashion consultant and personal shopper to Dublin elite had some genuine Irish Fashionistas up in arms! Finishing up the Top 10 are as follows; Glenda Gilson dropped to the sixth spot with 1050 but hey - atleast that nasty break up seems to be media forgotten! Followed by Emma Quinlan then, Pippa O'Connor, Michell McGrath and finally "I'm to Sexy for my Beauty pageant" Louise Kavanagh at ten!

This is a Glam-tatorship, Not a Fabocracy!

...but what if it were?
A country-wide search for TV3’s new Xposé presenter began Friday, 15th May for those schooled in the art of Fabulosity and wanting to rub elbows with and join the ranks of presenters Karen Koster, Glenda Gilson, Lisa Cannon and Aisling O'Loughlin on the daily entertainment, gossip and fashion show.
The search for Lorraine Keane's replacement will be documented over an eight weeks long series of one hour shows that will hit our screens this summer on -shock all shocks :) - TV3!!
It has been reported that thousands of models, 'It' girls and up and coming actresses (CeLaGuTiTeS) have sent in film reels, head shots and resumes for a chance to be judged by publisher Michael O'Doherty, former MTV girl Emma Ledden and PR guru Gerry Lundberg as to whether or not they are up to the task of becoming an Xpose gal!
We will watch all the trials, tribulations and I'm sure cat fights that ensue as the finalists are dwindled to one lucky lady.
I wonder if the news that they will receive only a small 20,000 and a six month contract, as revealed by the Herald on Thursday had dampened any ones excitement?
We doubt it! Flash parties, interesting celebs, glam hair and make up and wardrobe to do die for? The 20k is just an added bonus for most girls'!(and a pretty handsome one at that)
But what if, as it has become so popular, the celeb panel of judges were just figure heads, like Simon, Piers and Michelle Heaton! What if they let us vote, weigh in, pic the Xpose-lady-to-be ourselves...who would you chose? Some one like Glenda with killer looks and celeb connections? Some one cheeky and quick who will ask the out there questions we are all dying to know the answers to? A lady with a bonefide fashion and style background to give honest and open opinions of what celebs wear? Or maybe any old red-head to balance out the two brunette, two blond line up that already exists!
Let us know! Who would you pick? How would you pick 'em?
As for our nominee, well honestly we have too many to count! There are a load of gorge, stylish and smart females roaming this island that we would love to see in those shoes!
But based on the afore mentioned credentials? Lovely, witty, fashion savvy, well connected and a red head? Dawn Fitzgerald springs to mind but we have a feeling she is a tad too busy...does she have a sister?
Anywho, we will see who wins come the broadcast of the final show on Tuesday August 18th...viewing party one?!?! BYO Manolos xxox

Model Citizens...

Some f Ireland's loveliest Celagutites were part of the 40,000 strong female crowd yesterday that took part in the 27th Annual Flora Woman's Mini Marathon that tromped through the streets of Dublin yesterday.
Heat of 25° was tough enough but add cloudless blazing sun and it felt twice that by the time the race kicked off at 3pm at Fitzwilliam Square in Dublin City Centre. This Marathon no easy feat, Mini or not!
Taking part in the race were some of our FAVE 'It' girls like Marianne O'Neill, Laura Toogood, Pippa O'Connor and, Glenda Gilson, pictured above in her workout finest looking fit!
The undoubted winners of the day were all the marvelous charities who benefited from the run like The Irish Cancer Society and the Irish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals as well as the Marie Keating foundation, for whom Glenda ran with Lorraine Keane, set up by Boyzone frontman Ronan Keating and his family after losing their mum to Breast Cancer. Coming in first in the Race was Rosemary Ryan of Limerick(below) who finished the race in just under 35 minutes! BA-NANAS!!
